In a world where every successful movie seems to spawn a trilogy, a prequel, or an entire cinematic universe, it’s almost refreshing to see an actor say “one and done.” For some stars, the nine-picture contract and the endless press tours just aren’t worth the paycheck.

We’re looking at the actors who, for one reason or another, have a reputation for avoiding sequels. Of course, some of these actors have been in one franchise or another, but nowadays they won’t go down that same path. Not to mention they’re a minority among the inclusions.
