For all its superhero action and colorful animation, Invincibleis a show that just doesn't hold back when it comes to gore and violence. And when it isn’t a physical bloodbath, it’s something so psychologically twisted it could send most people straight to therapy. In the series, we’ve seen Nolan wipe out an entire alien civilization just to make a point that Earth isn’t theirs to conquer. A deranged scientist kidnaps college students, lobotomizes them, and turns them into mind-controlled cyborgs. At one point, Donald finds out he’s a clone and slices his wrist just to confirm it.
