Prime Video has had quite a successful run with romance television. Their latest entry is Every Year After, created by Amy B. Harris and Leila Gerstein. Based on Every Summer After by Carley Fortune, the eight-episode series follows the friends-to-lovers-to-exes story of Percy Fraser (Sadie Soverall) and Sam Florek (Matt Cornett), who first met while spending their summers in the lakeside town of Barry's Bay. Told through flashbacks and present-day drama, Every Year After chronicles how an unexpected tragedy brought Percy back to Barry's Bay, where the past is finally confronted.
