Science fiction films take us to new worlds, let us imagine what life might be like with fantastic technologies and often leave us wanting more. Some of the best sci-fi movies end in ways that make us wonder what happens next, or what other amazing stories there could be to tell in their worlds. Others end on a bittersweet note, or the darkest of them shock us with how sour things turn out. No matter how they end, though, these sci-fi movie endings have all left a lasting impression.
