Video games truly have a profound impact on all of us: they can excite, terrify, and leave players genuinely pleased. There's this unique ability in most of them to make us feel different after playing them, especially the ones that are the most entertaining or impressive. For much of the last thirty years, games have challenged our minds and made us never forget them. The ones that truly had an impact were the ones so intense that we never could get them out of our minds at all.
