Canceled sci-fi TV shows have become an unfortunate trend in the streaming age, with some of the most ambitious and original series cut down long before their stories could unfold. Science fiction has always been a genre built on imagination and long-term worldbuilding, which makes sudden cancellations particularly devastating. The last few decades are littered with examples of great shows ending far too soon.
