Back then, the genre was defined by fixed camera angles and tank controls, but it has since evolved into fully immersive experiences that genuinely make you feel like you’re trapped inside a horror movie. The graphics have become hyper-realistic, the scares have become more creative, but the core appeal remains exactly the same.
