One of the inherent fascinations with video games as a medium over other forms of art is that, thanks to the combination of the massive exponential growth of technology available and the playable aspects of the artform, older experiences prove to age much less gracefully than other artforms. This isn't to say that there aren't timeless classic video games that are still a blast to play nowadays, but when a game hasn't aged well, its flaws and limitations of the era really become apparent to a point of being unavoidable.
