One year ago today, on March 26, 2025, Marvel Studios did an unusual marketing ploy for Avengers: Doomsday with the infamous chair reveal video. Marvel slowly had a live-stream camera pan from one chair to the next in a surprise announcement to confirm the return of over two dozen actors for the event movie. It culminated with Robert Downey Jr. taking his place to announce that production was now underway.
